How to click the verify button

why

As we have suffered many raid attacks in the past from amateur attackers, we have made a simple verification system to reduce attacks as now they have to program the bot to click the button which most "hackers" fail to do. Also the verification does the discord OAuth so it will give you a CAPTCHA if your account is suspicious which increases costs for raiders and also most raiding programs dont support this (so its better than emoji react)

how do i click the button

Just click the verify button. If it is greyed out and you can't click it, it is because discord put a pop up on the bottom of the window. Where the write text box is supposed to be you will see it says "You must complete a few more steps before you can talk". Just click "Complete". Sorry discord makes community servers have this they think it will increase retention. Actually they might have removed this feature now idk.

does this put my account at risk??

no we do not ask for any sensitive permissions. The bot just needs access to your username so it knows who clicked the button to give the role. This doesn't let the bot change your username, only read it. But if you still don't believe we can not change your username just deauthorise it after.
